this is a clone of the Tychobrahe Octavia.
this is the only pedal i've made that has a transformer in it. it takes up a good chunk of the inside of this unit. the clear looking thing between the two knobs is actually a voltage sag knob, which "simulates" a dying battery. if i had that one back, i'd use that hole for an input volume knob, which is a mod i'd recommend for this circuit as your guitars volume knob seems to have a profound impact on how this thing tracks and sounds.
high input volumes are scratchy and weird, but as you quiet it down it cleans up and gets very, very sweet.
